Description
Selank is a synthetic seven-amino-acid peptide built on the sequence of tuftsin, a natural immunomodulatory tetrapeptide. We supply Selank 10MG as a freeze-dried powder in a sealed vial.
What is Selank?
Tuftsin (Thr-Lys-Pro-Arg) is a fragment of the heavy chain of immunoglobulin G. The research peptide extends it with a Pro-Gly-Pro tail, giving the sequence TKPRPGP, an approach also used in Semax to slow enzymatic degradation.
It was developed at the Institute of Molecular Genetics in Moscow, and most of its literature comes from Russian research groups.

Selank 10MG in published research
Animal studies have examined the heptapeptide in behavioural models of anxiety and stress, and in work on GABAergic signalling and on expression of immune-related genes. As with Semax, much of this work is published in Russian, so reviewing primary methods is worthwhile.
For combined studies, see the Semax/Selank Blend.
Preparation, handling and storage
Selank 10MG is shipped as a freeze-dried (lyophilised) solid. Lyophilisation removes water at low temperature and pressure, which generally makes a peptide more stable in transit and storage than a solution. Before use, the powder is reconstituted with a diluent chosen by your protocol. Common laboratory options include bacteriostatic water, sterile water, dilute acetic acid or a buffered saline such as PBS. Add the diluent slowly down the inside wall of the vial and swirl gently rather than shaking, which can cause foaming.
Keep unopened vials sealed, cold, dry and away from light. After reconstitution, refrigerate the vial and mark it with the date and concentration. For longer storage, keep the product frozen, as printed on the label. Where your protocol allows, divide material into aliquots to avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles.
Ordering from Alpha & Omega Peptide
Every listing on our site shows the compound, strength, format and product reference (SKU), so it is simple to match what arrives with your lab records. We describe each item factually, without claims about effects or outcomes, and we answer product questions by email rather than offering usage advice. You can add reconstitution and handling supplies such as bacteriostatic water, acetic acid solution, PBS and mixing syringes to the same order from our lab supplies range. Frequently asked questions
How should Selank 10MG be stored?
Keep unopened vials sealed, cold, dry and away from light. Once reconstituted, keep the vial refrigerated and, for longer storage, follow the frozen-storage note on the label. Record the product reference and the date opened in your lab notes so results can be traced back to the material used.
Is Selank 10MG for human or animal use?
No. It is supplied for laboratory and in-vitro research only and must not be administered to people or animals. We do not give dosing, administration or medical advice.
